Does this sound like 00Q fanfic? (James Bond/Hot Q!)? It set off my is-that-fanfic-radar.

(Not that I'm complaining. I love me some 00Q.)

I'm totally going to buy this to see how it rates at 00Q, even though it has rescuing children in it. :O
